Villa Salmona
This beautiful villa is located in the charming village of Saligao just minutes away from the beaches of Calungute. It has been simply decorated with antique pieces to retain the charm of the heritage property. It has three ensuite bedrooms (one with a twin bedroom loft attached). The house is set in a luxurious tropical garden with mango, chickoo and guava trees and has a designer in-ground swimming pool. The house has soaring ceilings, a large wrap around porch (perfect for relaxing!) and tons of character and atmosphere.

This house was bought and restored by a Canadian / Indian /Danish family who use it for their own holidays so it is (and feels like) a cherished home. The house comes with a housekeeper to take care of guests. He is a good cook and will gladly take care of meal preparation and purchase groceries for guests if required. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, TV and DVD player, CD player. It's also baby friendly and has some baby basics (crib, booster seat, stroller etc) along with a swing set and sandbox.

The house has ample living space with a huge sitting room, a separate dining room, and multiple outdoor spaces to relax and dine. It’s the perfect base for a beach holiday as it’s minutes away from some of Goa’s most famous beaches and best restaurants.

The house comes with a full time housekeeper who can do all shopping and prepare meals as required for guests. He is skilled in Indian and continental cooking particularly great grilled fish! He also can prepare meals for children. The house is cleaned daily and linens are changed once per week (or more if required). There is an additional small room in the staff quarters which can be used by any nanny or staff who may accompany the guests. A car (with or without driver) can be arranged at additional charge.

Sleeping:
The villa comprises 5 bedrooms in total; 3 double,2 twin and a cot, 3 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. This gives room for up to 10 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.

General:
villa has 3 bathrooms and 3 WCs for your party's use.

Entertainment:
The villa has television with dvd, satellite or cable. The music system will play cassettes, radio. If you need to keep in contact there is a telephone for incoming calls only.

Eating & Living:
There is room for 12 in the living room and 8 in the dining room. To prepare food you will find a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensils.

It is also fantastic for children with pool and safe surroundings which makes the holiday even more relaxing for parents. Salam, the housekeeper, spoils you completely with fantastic fresh meals, cups of wonderful ginger and mint tea and enormous hospitality and care to make sure your holiday is truly a fantastic experience. He takes particular care to ensure food is fresh, well prepared and washed with filtered / bottled water. He also took us on wonderful trips including the local markets, buying lobster directly from the fishing boats, beach trips, visits to the Spice Farms, historic villas, "safe" ice cream parlours and restaurants. If you like having your own space, and want to have a unique experience living in a beautiful Villa, you cannot beat Villa Salmona and the welcome of Salam and his staff."
